One of my favourite new tools from the Spring-Summer catalogue is the Borders scoring plate that fits in the Simply Scored tool. I love it so much I ran a class on it a few weeks ago.
Now to get the best out of your plate you need 2 essential tools, low tack masking tape and an unscented candle, I use a tea light. I use the masking tape to hold down the card stock and rub the ball tool on the candle before you emboss, it makes a huge difference.
We made lots of cards in class, each one focusing on a different area of the embossing plate.
It’s so cool that there is a section on the Borders Scoring Plate that matches the Labels Framelits and as you can see on the card below the Oval Accent Bigz Clear die.
I think this was my favourite card, really simple and clean. The happy birthday is from the For my family stamp set, this is retiring and I am keeping this set !!!!
That’s all from me today, I’ll be back soon.
