Today’s card is a variation of the cards published in the last issue of Making Cards magazine and the one I did as a make and take at the Eternal Maker yesterday. This is a Stampin’ Up! imperial one for all my lovely ladies who prefer inches to cm. I’ll give you the measurements, it is very straightforward. If you don’t have a fiskars trimmer use a craft knife and a metal edged ruler.
Cardstock at 6″ x 12″ scored at 2″, 4″,6″,8″ and 10″ Cut 2 lines between the 2″ and 10″ score lines, each line needs to be 2″ from the top and bottom edge. This will give you 2 rectangular sections for the front and back of the card, and 12 2″ square boxes to decorate.
I have lain the card down for this shot to explain the way to fold the card. The top and bottom score lines for the squares go Mountain, Valley, Mountain. The middle section is Valley, Mountain, Valley, it really does sound and look far more complicated than it is!!!
Give it a try.
