Certainly my garden seems to think Spring is on it’s way! My tiny daffodils always put on a good show, but I really wanted to show you the Primroses, we currently have a Stampin’ Up! colour called Primrose Petals and when it launched I have to say I was a little confused as in the UK most Primroses are yellow, it was a pink tone, but then I remembered these little beauties ! My Japanese quince is in full bloom and those catkins, are on my Magnolia tree, they are the promise of amazing flowers, I shall share when they come into flower.
I do have a card, with flowers too, the lovely single stamp called Vivid Vases. Now the stamp does have a sentiment on it, but I knew I wouldn’t use it all the time so I cut the sentiment off the bottom of the vases and mounted it onto the side of the block, as you can see in the pictures. It’s easy to do and means the stamp is very versatile.
The watercolour effect on the vases has been achieved using a blender pen and an ink pad.
