This week was all planned out, full which is how I prefer it, but manageable, but it seems life had other plans for me.
First my Uncle passed away which is very sad, but I trust he will be at peace now and pain free.
Then later then same day my husband was taken very poorly, he had been suffering with a ‘flu’ type virus for a few days. He had deteriorated during the day and then collapsed on our driveway after a colleague brought him home from work, paramedics and ambulance responded, the awesome NHS in action, we were quickly taken to QA hospital, it seems that the collapse was the virus basically shutting his body down, thank goodness for the range of tests they can run to rule out so many other things. There is no ‘magic’ cure, or tablets to take, he needs to rest, recover and beat the virus.
So I’m going to be taking a few days off, and keep an eye on Brian, who is the worlds worst patient……..although right now he doesn’t have the energy to misbehave……. and my plan is to be back at work next week, but I shall keep you updated here.
Meantime, the lovely winners have all claimed their prizes, Claire has gone for a full set of Brights Ink pads and matching card stock, great choice!
The weekly deals are up! Look to my scrolling icon to the right of the web page or you can see them all here in the picture below.
Stampin’ Up! have made another couple of announcements this week, My Digital Studio (MDS) will no longer be offered as a product from the 31st May 2015 and all the associated downloads, website etc will all be closing then. I have contacted directly all the customers who have purchased the full program from me. If you do own the products please make sure you have full back-ups.
And the 2nd announcement is fab news, there are some more products available as Sale-a-Bration choices to replace the withdrawn Blendabilities. Please see the picture below, or click on the link to see the pdf. You can place orders online by clicking the shop with Amanda button top right. Or send me an email and I’ll sort it out when I am back to work, or when Brian is asleep, like now !
I will be back early next week, have a great weekend and give all of your loved ones an extra hug !
I am really sorry to hear of your loss, Amanda. I guess your uncle was older and poorly, so I hope it was relieve for him? Still very hard for the family.
What a shock that your husband even collapsed. I do really hope he is feeling better soon. Family is so much more important than anything else, so I hope you take all the time you need to put your family first.
Take care,
Nessie

Thank you so much Nessie, it has been a tough week.
You and your husband will be in my thoughts and prayers!!!
Thank you very much Barbara, I really appreciate that.
Oh my Amanda. Firstly, i am very sorry to hear of the loss of your uncle – may he rest in peace.
It must have been terrible to see your husband to collapse like that and yes you are right the NHS is wonderful for times like that. I glad it is “just” a virus and nothing more serious. Hope he is listening to his body and having a good rest.
Take your time and i look forward to reading more posts when you are ready and able.
Thank you so much Claire. I hope to back working next week.
