So following on from Weddings we have Babies…….. Now this is actually a Christmas set and one of the most popular from last year, but it’s great as a baby card! The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments which should be on everyones stamps help, it is so useful.
The background is a stamp called water colour wash. Of course you could use an aqua painter and do a water colour wash with pencils or ink, but then you have to wait for it to dry, this way it’s done really quickly and dry too!
The bear is punched out and you have to punch the ears out separately, there is the right size circle in the cookie cutter punch so that is straightforward.

So today is Elephant day………. I am so excited, I have been planning this trip for months. It’s really important to me that animals are not exploited, and the tourist industry has a lot to answer for particularly in the case of Elephants in Thailand. So many of them are used to perform or give rides and sadly many of them don’t have a very nice existence. So I was determined to find a way of seeing Elephants but supporting them too. I found a place that is pioneering ethical elephant tourism. They offer a retirement home for sick, injured, and old elephants who have worked an exhausting life in the logging and tourism industries.
