I’m sorry if this is the 2nd time you are reading this……. it seems overnight I was targeted by some mischief makers……….I’ve had to roll my website back a few days along with lots of tearing out of hair and gnashing of teeth. But it seems all sorted out now, lets keep our fingers crossed. But if you ever see anything that looks a bit strange do let me know by sending me an email, thank you.
So last weekend I spent in Telford with 500+ other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. I was so pleased to have over 50 of my team in attendance as well! Stampin’ Up! hold these events twice a year, in April and November. The April one is the launch of the NEW annual catalogue which goes live in June. Yes June, that seems ages away but we do need time to prepare and get making with all the new goodies.
In my last post I mentioned information about the Colour Re-vamp, I will be sharing more information over the coming days along with sneak peeks and new products.
So lets start with a list of the returning colours…………yes I am squealing! Because there are 4 of my most favourite colours EVER coming back. Mossy Meadow is such an awesome green, Blackberry Bliss is the richest, deepest, purple, Coastal Cabana is a perfect blue shade and Mint Macaron, is the most delicious mint green woooo hoooooo! Now as exciting as all of this is remember you still have to wait 6 weeks till you can get your hands on them, 1st June 2018. Of course unless you join me team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators before then and then you can get your hands on them in May!!!!!
So back to onstage and my adventures last weekend.
I’m sure if you are a regular reader of my blog you will know I adore my team. I love my job and my awesome customers but there is something very special about a team and my team is the best team. I know I am biased but they are so lovely, helpful, friendly, and amazing cheer leaders for one another, they inspire me every day. Because we are spread out all over the UK and into Europe I don’t see them all that often so whenever we get together I bring them a gift.
So this time I decided to have a bit of fun, I asked them the following questions….
- Tea or coffee
- Basic Black or Crumb Cake
- Pink or Blue
- Silver or Gold
I had some coasters made in Silver or Gold etched with their names on and I bundled them with some special Coffee or Tea bags and made a tag with their favourite colours. I loved how they turned out and I am very pleased to say they were well received.
I took several crates with me, thank goodness I was driving not flying!
Now on the Friday evening we had an event called Centre Stage this is for the Leaders in Stampin’ Up! those who hold the title of Silver Elite or above. I have 6 in my team and 5 of them were in attendance. It was a fun evening, 1980’s themed, I wore a dragonfly jumpsuit, legwarmers and some serious blue eyeshadow! I get my leaders a special gift too, and this time I had some bags made to fit their Stamparatus. I am so pleased with how they turned out. There is plenty of room inside for a stamp set and ink pad and the Stamparatus and it will make taking it to events really easy. Of course I had one made for me too, and for Rhoda, who couldn’t attend this time.
They have a fab pocket inside and plenty of room for a stamp set and ink pads.
I’ll be back soon with more crafting, projects, sneak peeks and lots more besides!
