A many layered Abstract Impressions card for you today. The many layers refers to all the stamping, there was a lot! Each flower is made up of 3 stamps, but because I chose the stamp the base layer with a second generation of Berry Burst ( you stamp it onto scrap paper first then stamp onto your project). I increased my stamping time by 25%. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a quick card, but it would have been quicker if I’d used a pale colour and stamped once! So the first image is stamped off Berry Burst, then full strength Berry Burst, then Fresh Fig. Interspaced between the flowers are leaves also stamped in Fresh Fig Ink. I love the mini ruffled ribbon, it comes in all 5 of the 2017-2019 in colours and is a bargain at £7.50 for 9.1m. The Happy Birthday is from the Southern Serenade stamp set which fits perfectly inside the 1 1 /2″ circle punch. a 1 3/4″ gold foil circle finishes the card off.

So England won at the weekend, tonight is going to be another matter, as Croatia will be a tough team to beat. I’m not sure that I will catch the match live as Kim is heading back to Manchester in the morning and we have a family dinner planned but I shall be keeping my fingers and toes crossed. I’ll be back soon with some more crafting!
