If you have spent any time with me here on my blog you will know that my favourite colour is blue……. Pretty much any shade of blue, but teal blues are my absolute favourite. So of course since I love blue and I love cake I made a blue birthday cake. Does it work? The blue is Bermuda Bay with a little bit of Coastal Cabana.Let me know in the comments what you think of my blue birthday cake, and what would be your favourite colour of cake!
It’s a very clean card, the background is using the Scattered Sequins embossing folder, that’s retiring, but I’m pleased to say that the Piece of Cake stamp set and matching punch are both staying. The cake stand was stamped in Bermuda Bay ink onto Coastal Cabana card and punched out. The cake in Bermuda Bay ink onto Whisper White card and punched out. I used a blender pen to fill in the detail of the flowers.
I know I love it because it’s blue, but you could absolutely make it in your favourite colour. Except green, I really don’t think green cake would be good!
