We made todays card at my annual catalogue launch event, its a fabulous new stamp set with a matching punch called Daisy Lane. But the genius of the Daisy Lane stamp set it is co-ordinates with 2 punches the medium daisy and the daisy punch which I have used on todays card. You can also buy Daisy Lane in a bundle with the smaller punch, saving 10%
Can you see the oops……. there should be 2 rhinestones on the greeting……it must have fallen off before I took the picture. We used Smoky Slate as the base colour with Daffodil Delight and some Pear Pizzazz for the leaves. The flower centre was punched out using the 1/2″ circle punch so that made it easy. 2 Daisies were layered on top of one another to make a full flower.

Proud Mumma moment, my daughter Kimberley got her degree grade from Manchester University yesterday…… She got a 1st in Biology! So super proud! She worked so hard.
In other news, I have an ear infection…. really weird pain in my face over the weekend, normal pain killers didn’t work so off to the doctors I went. Ear infection, completely a random thing, don’t remember ever having one before….. I’d love to tell you it’s getting better, it was yesterday, but no so much this afternoon, so I think a repeat visit to the doctors is imminent.
Finally, it has been a great afternoon, the Spitfires have been flying over the Solent, we have seen them several times, such a wonderful plane and the sound of the engine is amazing! Yes I have been easily distracted! I blame it on the ear!
