When I started writing this blog post last week, it was to share a card I made for my top ten Inspiring Inkees, these are demonstrators in my team who have been building businesses through sales, mentoring and leadership. As I came to my blog today to post this card with you, it really made me smile, because the sentiment is perfect for me too today, you’ll have to read to the bottom to see what I mean.

Let’s concentrate on the card first. This is made using a stamp set I have had since the catalogue launched in July, but I’ve been waiting to use it for the team awards! It’s called Sweetly Swirled and it is sort of a builder set. 3 swirly frames, flowers and leaves and some lovely sentiments.

I have kept the card really simple as I wanted the words to stand out. Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green are the colours I have used. In order to get the leaves in the right place I did stamp the flower onto the circle and then stamped the leaves. I re-stamped the flower onto a piece of scrap Whisper White card and cut it out, topping it with a Rhinestone.

My Card Classes this month are making this card with a Happy Birthday from Seaside Notions inside which fits perfectly too! I am planning on using it next month for a Christmas card so watch this space for that!

I did say I was smiling, I am VERY excited. Yesterday the Global awards for Stampin’ Up! were announced for the 2018-2019 year. My team awards are based on these awards, so we have also have recognition for Sales, Mentoring and Leadership, the Country and Global recognition is for excellence in all 3 areas.

I am thrilled to share that I ranked 3rd in the UK for sales, 4th in the UK overall and 60th in the Global ranking, Stampin’ Up! rank the top 100 each year. 

That’s No 60 out of 50,000 demonstrators world wide…….. Wooo Hoooo!

I am so proud to say I have ranked in the top 5 for the UK, consistently for 12 years, since we launched here!

I have the best customers and the best team, I am grateful to each and everyone of you! I am blessed to be able to do a job I love every day, thank you.

So this card is very apt for me too today, I have really ‘Outdone Myself!’
