Welcome to the replay of Craft and Chat : Sunburst Technique. Now these projects came about because the lovely Joan contacted me and asked if I had a tutorial on this technique as she wanted to make a special card. It was a technique on my list to cover but I’d scheduled it in a few weeks, so I switched things around and designed these cards.
There are 3 different styles of setting out the triangles this first card the centre point is in the bottom right
This 2nd card is in the centre.
And the final card puts the triangles in the top 2/3rds of the card, as you can see here. Now the card showing this final technique in the video looks different! That’s because I thought cutting with scissors would work………. it doesn’t! The technique needs you to have VERY straight cut lines so use your trimmer! I have used different sizes of card though to make the triangles and I think it looks fab. I hope you do too!
