Fun with a punch on today’s Craft and Chat Replay. The punch is called the Tailored Tag punch and it is really versatile! Of course you can use it directly to punch out a shape, you can mitre corners, make flag ends and even hexagons! I made 2 cards, this first one is using the punch as it is intended to make a mosaic. I adore the papers they are called In Good Taste and its a bumper pack of 24 sheets of 12″ x 12″.

Here is the even sided Hexagon card. In order to get the even sided hexagon cut your card or paper to 1 1/2″ and punch. If you want to make sure its square draw a pencil line at 3/4″ and line it up with the points on the punch.

I’ve got lots of cards to make this week, I’m catching up on customer and team birthdays. Then I’ve got projects to design for Craft-along and Craft and chat, so all the creating this week.
I promised a crochet update, I decided on a scrappy blanket for my yoga, all the odds and ends of yarn and colours I received that aren’t quite to my taste (read not blue….) I’m using a 8mm hook and 2 strands of Double knit so it’s going to be warm and pretty loud! I’ll show it to you at craft and chat next week, you might need sunglasses!
