Happy Monday! I hope you had a lovely weekend and that today has been as good as a Monday can be. I’ve had a busy day doing no work! Some days just go like that, lots of things achieved but no actual work. Tomorrow is another day, and my work to do list will still be there, so it’s all good. I might have managed to order some yarn for me, and some flowers for a friend so a good day really!
Today’s card is all about a set of dies called Pine Woods, you will find them on page 43 of the Autumn-Winter catalogue. Most of the dies are straight forward as they cut out trees and stamped images and snowy banks but there is one die that is kind of a reverse die. It cuts out the negative space inside of the tree. If you look in the catalogue on page 43 and the centre card you will see what I mean. So what I did for my card is I die cut it and then fussy cut around the edge. I’m so pleased with it.
I do think a bit of tartan or Plaid is always good at Christmas too! Here is the die cut in close up.

It has been a lovely warm day here in Hampshire, hit 24 degrees inside this afternoon, I might have to get my shorts back out!
