Happy Monday! As yesterday was Valentines day I thought I would share the card and gift I gave to my beloved, otherwise known as Brian. If you have been a regular reader here on my blog you will know Brian prefers cards to be clean and simple and I knew exactly the card I was going to make him when I saw the snail mail bundle on page 54 and 55 of the January to June Mini catalogue.
I’m thrilled to say he loved it! I used the Scripty embossing folder to make the background and then the tiny envelope, heart and even the inside note are dies from the Snailed it bundle. I did write a little note to him, but a girl has to have some secrets!

Now Brian’s gift has a little bit of a tale that starts with dinosaurs! You may remember it was Connor’s 26th birthday at the beginning of the month. As a child he adored dinosaurs, never went anywhere without one, so I often buy him dinosaur themed gifts. I decided that because I couldn’t see him and make a cake, I would send him something edible and dinosaur related. I found the amazing Annie from Alfie and Me Biscuits and she had on her website iced dinosaur biscuits. She was so helpful, made a custom colour combination just for me. She was quick to reply, really helpful and best of all they looked and tasted amazing. This is what she made for Connor.
So of course when thinking about a valentines gift I knew what I was going to get for Brian. Such a fab design and yummy!
You might be asking, what about postage and sending iced biscuits, well I was amazed at the way they are packaged, lots of sturdy packing and double wrapped boxes, and nothing cracked or broken.

Most of my goodies that were missing have arrived, so I’m busy die-cutting, card cutting and packing kits. February’s Craft-a-long kits will go in the post tomorrow 1st class, which means we are ‘go’ for next week’s class on the 23rd Feb at 7pm which I am super excited about.
Then I’ll do January’s Craft-a-long kits. I know its a bit backwards, but that is how the parcels arrived and I didn’t want to have to delay another class. If you are patiently waiting for January, thank you, it will be in the post this week! and I will send out the accompanying video as well.
So I best get going the Cut and Emboss machine won’t roll itself!
