I seem to be the mother of a 26 year old…….. me….. I really can’t believe it and I would love to give Connor a hug! Obviously hugs are out of the question, as is a family dinner or any of the stuff we would normally do, so I am looking forward to a video call later. Technology is awesome!
I made Connor a penny spinner card, super quick and easy to do and I know you’ll want to see a video. But you’ll have to wait a few days….. I know what a tease, I shall make one on Tuesday at Craft and Chat, you’ll have to pop back then to see it. But for now, look at this cute card. I have used the fab Stitched with Whimsy dies, you might have missed in the catalogue, you’ll need them! Page 72.
I coloured the spinning Zebra with Blends and did a little fussy cutting, so quick and easy, but that Zebra spins head over heels, lots of fun. You can see the die cutting close up on the picture below.
And of course there is stamping inside.
I’m pleased to say he loved it and his gifts, which included Dinosaur cookies! Every boy needs more dinosaurs, even 26 year olds!!!

The weather men are teasing me again, we are right on the border of another snow storm, supposedly happening tonight and tomorrow. It’s so not going to arrive here is it ?…… you know my luck!
So I’m expecting to get some gardening done over the weekend, we have mini daffodils growing all over the veg beds, we thought we had dug them all out, apparently not, so lots of transplanting needs to happen. Some seeds to sow as well to get the veggies off to a quick start, we put them in the spare room, warmish and plenty of sun whilst we wait for the frosts to finish.
I have fish pie to make and then my kindle is calling, I have lots of goods books that need reading.
