I have a gem gift bag for you today, with you guessed it Butterflies! I’ve been using them so much I couldn’t resist making a Butterfly version of this Gem bag. I’m calling it a gem bag, because of the sides, they look sort of faceted, like a gemstone. It’s very quick and simple to make.

I designed this bag for my January Craft-a-long and you see an alternative version using the Dandy Garden and dragonflies paper, this bag is so versatile you will be able to use all sorted of colours and patterned paper to make it.
If you are reading this via email, please click HERE to watch the video.
I have some side views for you so you can see the facets close up.

I know I’m a day late with this blog post, the plan was to post on Friday. But with my busy week things all slipped a bit! But that is bonus of having your own business and setting your own hours. I can pop out for appointments during the week and work Saturday morning if I choose too! So that’s what I decided to do. But that’s me for the week, I’m off till Monday.
I am very pleased to see the sun peeking through the clouds now, it might warm up a bit, because we have got gardening to do and it is chilly!
But first Keeva is going in the bath! She’s not a fan of water in any form, and bathing her is a 2 person job as she really likes to escape, and her old lady legs aren’t strong enough to keep her steady. It does mean that both Brian and I will be covered in dog hair, bubbles and smell of wet dog! Such a lovely thought. But by the end of the evening, she will be smelling of peaches (why her dog shampoo smells of peaches I have no idea…..) and be clean and shiny! We will have also showered and got different clothes on so a little more fragrant too! Such a glamorous life I lead.
Butter Chicken for tea and home-made Naans which are so yummy. I have no idea what we are doing tomorrow, I hope we might go for a long walk and maybe the crochet will come out, we shall see. Enjoy your weekend what ever you are up to and I’ll see you on Monday!
