Well yesterday did not go as planned! But that is okay, right, sometimes crafting just doesn’t go the way we had planned. I managed to make something however that even a mother couldn’t love…….

So the plan was to share the fabulous Happiness Abounds stamp set and some heat embossing hints and tips, so far so good. I then tried to share a cool technique, with water colour, that didn’t want to go well. I had hoped that by the time it dried it would be salvageable. Nope.

So I have added to my list of videos to do a good explanation of this technique and a pretty card or 2. Its just not happening today.

So enjoy the video, knowing it wont turn out okay in the end, but that is okay!

I did make a very pretty card before the disaster though. If you’ve never heat embossed you can find all the links for the products below. If you haven’t heat embossed for a while, and the powders are gathering dust at the back of the cupboard, get them out!

The middle one in the second set of images on water colour paper is sort of okay. I think I might be able to use it we will see. Bizarrely it looks better in a photo than in real life! I shall keep you posted!

I’m busy cutting kits for my May Craft-along and Team Craft-along which is very exciting. I need to get them done because next week is a bit crackers, I have a couple of days out and lots of zooms that are international so late at night. So my working days are going to be all over the place, and I think there might be an afternoon nap or 2 next week, I promise that it wont be Tuesday afternoon though.
