A fun craft and chat replay for you today, using up the scraps of card and patterned paper that are just a bit too small for a card front. I know you save them, because I do too! I love figuring out a way of making them work. My measurements are below the video but I do explain in the video how to figure it out for whatever size of card you are working on.
But first Scrapbooking! I’ve been talking about this for weeks, and this week Stampin’ Up! launched a travel journal kit. I am very excited as I’ve designed a 3 part class to give a good understanding of all things scrapbooking and one of the classes includes the Journal. The workshop will be perfect if you are a beginner, or have scrapbooked before and want a refresher, or if you just want to see the way Amanda does it! Because you know my class will be straightforward and fun! I will also be able to answer your questions and show samples and share all my tips too.
There are 3 different classes, and you get to attend all 3 which ever of the 4 options you choose to book. This means you can get the Ultimate Workshop which includes a Travel Journal kit and all the products you need for 3 different mini books as well, or you can craft with your own products and just attend the classes, or pick and choose which crafting kit you want.
Because I’m including a kit, booking isn’t done on my website, so you need to click the link below and register, I’ll then send you confirmation and an invoice. Its really straightforward.
You will find all the information of what is included in each class, the dates times, everything, just click on the link.
So lets get onto those triangles and using up your card and paper scraps shall we. I am loving the Unbounded Beauty Suite of products at the moment, it includes all the NEW in colours.

I made 3 cards, I’ve got a couple of them made with Peach Pie card base, because I made another one using the Happy Birthday stamp. You’ll be able to see it works well with all the stamps in that set.

Measurements
My Card base is 8″ x 5 3/4″ scored at 4″
Card layer 3 3/4″x 4 1/4″
Patterned Paper Layer 3 1/2″ x 4″
This gives me a gap of approx 1″ for the stamped sentiment to fit.
Here are all the Stampin’ Up! items I used in the video. Click on the pictures to go shopping in my online store.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend whatever you have planned. More gardening is on our list and lots and lots of paperwork sorting…… Never my favourite job, but it needs to be done. The shedder will be getting a work out I’m sure.
At some point I need to make Brian’s birthday card as well. Do you remember the card Rosie sent me for my birthday with the wobbles, she sent me the link and I’ve got some so I’ll share all the info once I’ve used them. I’m thinking of using them on his card, I shall see how my creativity takes me! So I’ll see you on Tuesday so I can share.
Remember that the bundle and machine sale is ongoing, you get an extra 10% off during June.
Craft and Chat will be back at its usual time of 2pm on Tuesday, I hope to see you then.
