Mini Treat bag Tutorial

A few weeks ago I went to a Stampin’ Up! event and swapped projects with lots of amazing demonstrators. Carol was kind enough to give me a lovely treat bag. Its a mini version of a bag style I have made before, which I had to remake to share with you all.

Measurements

Patterned paper 8 1/2″ x 5 3/4″
With the 5 3/4″ at the top score at 1 1/2″ and 4 1/4″
With the 8 1/2″ at the top score at 3 1/2″ and 5″
If you would like decorative strips you’ll need two 2 3/4″ x 1″ scored at 1/2″

Here is a template showing all the score lines and the glueing sections.

Finally I added this picture to show you the size, it fits in my hand, and my hands are small so it really is mini. It also means you can see how the inside folds as well.

This is Carol’s original bag, you can see she has decorated the front and added an extra layer of paper for the hole punched section. Its really lovely.

Here is another video of a bag made in a similar way, but uses stamped card. You’ll have to scroll about 20 minutes forward to get to the bag.

This is going to be a busy weekend to end my busy week. Christmas decorations are going up upside and outside and we need a walk by the beach too!
